Recently I came across a good read on Short Sales.  The pattern followed by the author gives a good explanation of how patience can win out, only if you have several months and you are third in line.  Lake Minnetonka short sales may be challenging.

I have personally completed 3 short sales, one of which took at least 5 months to complete, just days before the foreclosure process began.  The seller was near tears and grateful the process was at an end.  The buyers were elated with their great deal and joy was all around, in various costumes of course.

Whether or not you have patience to fish for the deal appears to be the determining factor.  Not everyone likes to fish!
