Is Chanhassen real estate about to boom? Plug your ears!

Of course no one has a crystal ball. But the construction of the new Highway 312 might be a harbinger of things to come. Chanhassen already enjoys easy access to downtown Minneapolis and other vital metro locations. The new Highway 312 will make distance a total non-issue for relocation to this third tier community. The really good news here is that the existing major traffic routes will still remain in place, supplementing traffic flow for the new four-lane highway.

Residents that live in the more congested areas of the Twin Cities are discovering that Chanhassen is closer than ever, and requires hardly a longer commute than a home in Eden Prairie now requires. It certainly is an easier commute than some of the suburbs on the south side of the Minnesota River. A Chanhassen Minnesota real estate purchase means you can enjoy a town with a semi-rural character without a long drive. You certainly won’t be losing anything in terms of school districts, shopping, entertainment, and other amenities.

The new Highway 312 already extends to Highway 41 in Chaska. It is just barely starting to see westward traffic into Carver County. But the good Chanhassen real estate values are still here.
