Lake Minnetonka Realtor Takes a Walk

This Lake Minnetonka Realtor wonders from time to time when walking through the West Point neighborhood in Tonka Bay, who will I notice in their yard? Who will be chatting with neighbors, walking the dog or performing the ordinary activities that frequent any neighborhood? This particular evening was apart from the normal simple walk.

It was about 8:30 PM. the sun giving off its final summer sunset rays. The quietness of the evening was broken only by crickets and frogs discussing life in adjoining wetlands. Absence of all boat noise and not a person in a yard in my half mile walk, no distractions except an occasional rabbit sharing the same space. The lake was quiet with a lack of wind creating a stillness that came as a gift.

Tonka Bay is in the middle of the Lake Minnetonka area and at the same time can be a simple quiet space in a world that is consumed by busyness and activity. I am reminded by the first time my husband and I drove into the neighborhood and I experienced the feeling I was coming home. We have lived here for 23 years and our fondness and love for the Tonka Bay area continue. As a Lake Minnetonka Realtor, this part of the market is my favorite.
