REALTOR You Can Trust
Trust
Recently I attended my WIN (Women In Networking) meeting where there was a guest speaker named Amy Zastrow, The Kick Butt Business Mentor. She ran the group through an exercise aimed at naming your ideal client.
It became abundantly clear to me that I have 3 ideal clients that immediately came to mind. The common thread in all three was that they were women who were going through very difficult personal transitions. All three put their trust and faith in me to help them find homes in complex scenarios.
My service to them took on a special significance and I rallied to be a positive influence and a sacred bearer of their trust. In times of adversity, I successfully manage to be in peak performance mode and never realized this until asked to name my ideal client. When it comes to confidentlallity, I am fiercely protective.
The impact of knowing who my ideal client was, led to me speak about the learning in front of the WIN group. One very astute member of the group immediately rattled off what I was saying, she said I was a “REALTOR you can trust in a time when it was difficult to trust anyone”.
Just after that meeting with the revelation in regard to trust, I met with a friend, who is under significant personal stress. After a listening and being with her, she thanked me and told me that I was one of a couple people she could trust.
Affirmations coming from 2 different directions in one week, made me check myself for feathers, in the mode of “If you look like a duck and act like a duck, you better check your butt for feathers.”
In the words of one of the women who was an “ideal” client, when asked on the feedback form about my performance, “What particular attributes of Loretta influenced you most in choosing her?, her answer was “honesty and integrity”.
The bottom line is that I am truly grateful for the clients, the friend, and the written testimonial. I look forward to the opportunity to becoming your “Realtor you can trust when it is difficult to trust anyone.” I will appreciate your business and honor your trust.
